I'm Josh Thomas, a freelance Video Producer based in Leeds, Yorkshire.

I collect data before, during and after you book my services, solely to contribute towards my services to you. This can include:

– Names, addresses and contact details of the person(s) placing a booking with me.
– Names, addresses and contact information of the person(s) using my services.
– Details that are taken relevant to the service provided to help us perform my work, such as other supplier details that are part of your project.

If you send me an e-mail or a message via social media, these messages are stored within my email system or social media accounts. These messages are stored for as long as practicable to allow me to provide you with a high-quality service.

How do I gather your information?

I collect information directly from you, such as filling out a contact form, direct email contact or via a face-to-face consultation. This information is collected for the sole purpose of providing you with the necessary services that I offer.

Who do I share your data with?

I treat your information with the utmost respect and confidentially and do not sell your data to any third-party organisations. I only share your information with third parties directly related to the service I provide. I am required by law to provide data to law enforcement should I be issued with a court order to do so.

How long do I keep your data?

The majority of the data I collect from you is kept in perpetuity in order to be able to offer a better service should you contact me in the future, or to allow me to recognise follow-up contact. I am also legally obliged to store some data for a minimum amount of time, such as payment records etc.

What are your rights?

You may request a copy of any data I store about you and I will comply with any requests as per the guidance of the Information Commissioner’s Office. If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data I hold about you, including any data you have provided to me. You can also request that I erase any personal data I hold about you. This does not include any data I am obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. The information I store about you has no effect on you as an individual or your digital footprint.
